All excavation shall be carried out and up to the hard strata in conformity with the directions laid here-in-under and in a manner approved by the Engineer.


Foundation :The type of masonry used for structures shall be random coarse rubble stone masonry (first sort )shall be dry packed and filled with quarry dust.


Basement :The course rubble stone masonry shall be laid with cement mortar of 1:6. Every stone shall be fitted to the adjacent stone so as to form neat and close joint. The face joints shall not be more than 20 mm thick, but shall be sufficiently thick to prevent stone-to-stone contact and shall be completely filled with mortar.(Basement should be a height of 45 cm)


Belt should be R.C.C of M15 grade provided all around the wall by using 10mm steel as main bar and 8mm as stirrup.( width : 24 cm, thickness 15 cm).



Lintel should be R.C.C of M15 grade provided all around the wall by using 8mm and 10mm steel as main bar based on opening size and 8mm as stirrup.( width : 24 cm, thickness 15 cm). Shall be kept constantly moist on all the faces for a minimum period of ten days


R.C.C of M20 grade should be used for slabs ,columns and beams.Concrete is prepared by mixing graded aggregate of stone along with cement in a specified proportion. Mixing shall be done by a mechanical mixer/ Ready mix .
